Cucho Hernandez - Takes seven shots in draw Hernandz took seven shots (one on target) and created two chances in Sunday's 1-1 draw against the Timbers.

Impact Hernandez will regret his lack of clinical finishing as his side was pegged back in stoppage time for a draw on Sunday. His 76 shots since debuting for Columbus back in July lead MLS by a distance (second place Julian Carranza has taken just 53). But only 26 have been on target (34.2 percent), which is the second-worst percentage among the top-10 shooters in the league in that span. Of course he does have nine goals as well (34.6 percent of his shots on target).

Impact Room will be disappointed that he allowed a 95th-minute equalizer Sunday -- though Santiago Moreno's strike was sensational -- as the Crew still sit just outside the Eastern Conference playoff spots with just three games remaining. After the international break he will face the Red Bulls, which have scored 47 goals in 32 matches this season.

Impact Zelarayan was very dangerous going forward Sunday and he set up Kevin Molino's opening goal, but his side was still pegged back for a draw that leaves the Crew just outside the playoff picture with three games left in the regular season.

Impact Molino opened the scoring Sunday with his first MLS goal in over a year as he's still on the road back to full fitness from a torn ACL he suffered in August 2021. He has started Columbus' last two games on the left wing, but he's still mostly a backup option and Derrick Etienne is likely to take back over in the XI for the final few games of the regular season.

Impact Mensah had to come out of Tuesday's loss to Miami at halftime after suffering a hamstring injury, and he has been ruled out of Sunday's match now as well. Josh Williams should replace him in central defense alongside Milos Degenek while Mensah's out.

Impact Etienne has struggled of late in the right wing but had a better performance on Tuesday by sending in multiple crosses to the Columbus attack. Since returning from a knock on his leg in June, the 25-year-old has only totaled 15 crosses in 16 games. Prior to that he totaled 30 crosses in 14 games. As a result of this his average crosses per game dropped to 1.5 a game. It remains to be seen whether his potential knee injury from Wednesday will force him to miss additional game time.

Impact After coming off two straight games with a clean sheet, Room has struggled the last two games with four goals conceded in two matches. However, the Curacao goalkeeper has been one of the league's top keepers with a total of 10 clean sheets on the year, fourth most in the MLS. He has also not conceded more than two goals in a game since Mar 5. The 33-year-old looks to extend his clean sheet record with a visit from the Portland Timbers on Sunday, who have scored 13 goals in six away games.

Impact It's unclear how much time Mensah might be out but typically a minor muscle injury needs 10 days to two weeks to be fully overcome. This should put him out of the team for Sunday's match against Portland but he might be back by the Oct. 1 match against New York Red Bulls. In his place, Josh Williams should return to the starting lineup.
