Jacen Russell-Rowe - Brace of assists in first start Russell-Rowe took two shots and recorded two assists in Wednesday's 2-1 victory against Toronto FC.

Impact The Crew had only announced Russell-Rowe's signing of a two-and-a-half-year contract a few hours prior to Wednesday's game, and then the 19-year-old went and bagged a brace of assists against Toronto -- his academy club no less -- in his first-ever MLS start. He lined up in a front-two alongside Lucas Zelarayan in the game, but he will have his sights set on Miguel Berry's starting striker position after being promoted from Columbus' MLS NEXT Pro team.

Impact Zelarayan makes a surprise immediate return to the starting XI Wednesday after only partially training earlier this week and missing the prior three matches. It's hard to see him going a full 90, but that may not matter in a home match, as he could still have multiple shots and 10-plus crosses.

Yaw Yeboah - Training individually Yeboah (ankle) was training off to the side with Columbus on Tuesday, according to Patrick Murphy of Massive Report.

Impact Yeboah has missed the Crew's last two games with an ankle injury, and he will be questionable to make his return against Toronto on Wednesday. With Derrick Etienne (leg) also in doubt, Luis Diaz could continue on the right wing if necessary.

Impact Jacob Myers of the Columbus Dispatch reports that Molino was not in training with the Crew on Tuesday as he recovers from an illness that kept him out of last weekend's draw with RSL, but he is expected to be good to go on Wednesday. He has only made one appearance since tearing his ACL last August, so a cameo off the bench would be most likely for him as he continues working his way back to fitness.

Impact Hurtado missed last weekend's draw with RSL due to a foot injury, and he will be a doubt now for Wednesday's clash against Toronto FC as well. Miguel Berry would likely get the start over him at center forward whether he's fit or not.

Sean Zawadzki - Four interceptions during start Zawadzki logged four interceptions across 90 minutes during a draw Saturday against Real Salt Lake.

Impact Zawadzki logged his MLS debut, and it was promising. He recorded the Crew's best interception tally during their goalless draw. Zawadzki will try to continue logging starts in place of one central midfielder among Darlington Nagbe, Artur and Aidan Morris.

Will Sands - Plays 29 minutes Sands logged one clearance across 29 minutes during a 0-0 draw Saturday against Real Salt Lake.

Impact Across the Crew's last four league games played, Sands logged three appearances. He replaced Pedro Santos twice. Crew manager Caleb Porter's usage of Sands indicates the latter could be a backup left-back. However, Santos remains their best defender.

Impact Currently, Degenek and Jonathan Mensah are the Crew's main central defenders. The struggling Crew remain one of few MLS Eastern Conference teams that have allowed fewer than 20 goals across 2022. Degenek's efforts were a significant goal-preventing factor.

Impact Mensah was the 2022 Crew's best center-back across their 15 league games played until now. He logged 56 clearances and 12 interceptions. Both tallies are current Crew bests, and the team allowed less than 17 goals while Mensah played all but one game.
