Gyasi Zardes - Out 2-4 weeks Zardes (hamstring) is expected to miss 2-4 weeks due to an injury he suffered in Wednesday's loss against the Red Bulls, according to Jacob Meyers of the Columbus Dispatch.

Impact Zardes is likely to miss at least Columbus' next three games with this injury, and he is unlikely to suit up for the USMNT's first round of World Cup qualifiers in September as well. Veteran forward Bradley Wright-Phillips should replace him in the meantime for the Crew.

Impact Zardes picked up the injury during Wednesday's loss to the New York Red Bulls and he could be out for at least a couple of weeks. A busy season with the Gold Cup in the middle may have led to this injury, though he should be able to return for the end of the season without any issue.

Impact Diaz hasn't played in a couple of games after picking up an injury against Atlanta and now at least has a chance for the Sounders match. Kevin Molino has gotten the most recent chance to start on the right flank and could continue in that role should Diaz remain unable to play from kickoff.

Perry Kitchen - Undergoes back surgery Kitchen underwent back surgery and will be out eight-to-12 weeks, according to the Columbus Dispatch.

Impact Kitchen can't seem to catch a break, as he was already dealing with an MCL injury. He's appeared in just five matches this season because of injury and it doesn't look like he'll return to the pitch again unless he can recover quicker than expected from back surgery.

Gyasi Zardes - Suffers possible hamstring injury Zardes left just just before halftime with a possible hamstring injury in Wednesday's loss against the Red Bulls. Manager Caleb Porter believes it to be a "soft tissue injury."

Impact Zardes had a lot of minutes under his belt the last couple months and it looks like it's catching up with him. If it's indeed a hamstring injury, it'll keep him out at least two weeks with the hope being it's not longer. If that's the case, the Crew will likely turn back to a central striker in Bradley Wright-Phillips.
