David Ochoa - Traded to D.C. Ochoa has joined D.C. United from Real Salt Lake in exchange for $75,000 in General Allocation Money, the club announced Friday.
Impact Ochoa kept six clean sheets in 28 MLS games last season and led an unfancied RSL team to an improbable run to the Western Conference Final in the playoffs. But the 21-year-old has been benched for the entire 2022 campaign as manager Pablo Mastroeni preferred Zac MacMath in goal, so Ochoa is now leaving for D.C. He will presumably take over from Rafael Romo as the new No. 1 for his new club, but he only has six months left on his contract and then he'll have to make a decision about what he wants in the future.

Ravel Morrison - Available against Orlando Morrison (not injury related) has received his work vis and will be available for selection in Sunday's clash against Orlando City, Steven Goff of the Washington Post reports.
Impact Morrison is eligible to make his MLS debut for D.C. at the weekend, but he is still working his way up to match fitness as he hasn't played since the end of the European season in May. He will likely have limited minutes if he does indeed see the field on Sunday.

Gaoussou Samake - Gets first MLS start Samake created a chance and made two clearances in Saturday's 2-1 defeat against CF Montreal.
Impact Samake earned his first MLS start at left-back on Saturday, and it was his first appearance at all for D.C. United since mid-April. With Brad Smith out for the season with a torn ACL, 24-year-old Samake could be in line for more playing time for the remainder of 2022.

Rafael Romo - Poor in loss Romo made one save and two clearances in Sunday's 2-1 defeat versus CF Montreal.
Impact Romo faced only three shots on goal during the loss to Montreal and still ended up conceding twice. Goalkeeping has been an issue for D.C. United throughout the season and Romo certainly doesn't seem to be the solution even with Bill Hamid sidelined. If Hamid remains out it will likely be Romo back in net against Orlando on Sunday.
