Edison Flores - Listed as questionable Flores is listed as questionable for Wednesday's match against New England, according to Steven Goff of the Washington Post.
Impact Flores just made his return from nearly three months out with a hamstring injury, and now may be back on the sidelines for a different reason. Seeing as he hasn't started a game since May, this shouldn't impact how his team lines up just yet.

Jon Kempin - Drops form in shocking loss Kempin made two saves and conceded five times in the 5-2 loss to Nashville on Sunday.
Impact Kempin made his second straight start since taking over the starting job again. Although, the keeper showed why he deserves quite the opposite. Kempin may not have gotten any help the entire match from his backline which makes things rather difficult. However, he could have made two different saves that may have altered the game's outcome, but he did not put in enough effort. It would be very surprising if he continues to start with another performance like this.

Impact Kamara is unstoppable at the moment and he continued to show why in the loss. The forward has started eight of his last nine matches and he has scored 10 goals in that time frame. During that period he is also averaging, 2.11 shots, 1.0 created chances, 0.22 crosses and 0.11 tackles per 90 minutes in all competitions. Kamara is currently one of the hottest forwards in the game and there is no reason to not continue to consider him day in and day out.

Paul Arriola - Creates beautiful assist in loss Arriola assisted once, took one shot (none on target), created one chance and sent three crosses (none accurate) in the 5-2 loss to Nashville on Sunday.
Impact Arriola has been iffy since his return from the Gold Cup. He has started both matches and in that time he has one assist, four shots, three created chances and four crosses. When comparing that to his production prior to the Cup, it is a little concerning that the lack of playing time has possibly affected him. Nevertheless, Arriola is one of the better offensive minds in the starting XI for D.C. United and he will remain one of the best options.

Impact Gressel was a force for yet another match. The midfielder continues to abuse his freedom on the flank and he eclipsed double-digits in crosses for the second straight game. Unlike many set-piece takers in the league, a majority of Gressel's value comes from his open-play --8.68 crosses and 3.05 corners per match this season--. He seems to finally be rounding a corner after accumulating his third assist in five appearances. Prior to that he only had one assist and point on the season.

Frederic Brillant - Goes the distance in 5-2 loss Brillant scored once, took one shot (one on target) and made two tackles (two won) in the 5-2 loss to Nashville on Sunday.
Impact Brillant was tremendous in a rather poor showing from his club. The defender not only kicked off the scoring affair for D.C., but he also made two different clearances off the line to keep them in the match. Brillant is not a strong peripheral player and he never has been. However, when he does put together a string of top-notch performances, he collects stats in bunches.

Steve Birnbaum - Takes massive blow to head in loss Birnbaum made three clearances and drew one foul before he was replaced by teammate Joseph Mora in the 73rd minute during the 5-2 loss to Nashville on Sunday.
Impact Birnbaum was one of the many reasons D.C United failed to conjure any success in their lopsided loss Sunday. The defender missed player markers multiple times, letting Nashville run rampant on the defense. Birnbaum would eventually leave the match however, after he took a massive blow to the head during a Nashville set-piece. It is unknown if he will miss time, but by the looks of it, the injury was pretty severe.
