Andre Gomes - Working on returnGomes (calf) is not ready to return to action, but is working his way to fitness, per manager Sean Dyche. "Andre has been very frustrated. He's had a niggly calf injury again but...
ImpactAgain, Dyche does not provide much of an update for Gomes execpt that he is continuing to recover from the calf injury. This is no surprise as the midfielder has yet to step foot on the pitch because of it. Depending on his timeline, it is possible that the team will not see Gomes until December, at minimum.

Dele Alli - Returns to grassAlli (hip) is back on the grass, but is still some time away from returning, per manager Sean Dyche. "Dele still has some time to go - he's just back on the grass now but he's in a...
ImpactAlli can't seem to catch a break as he has been plagued with injuries for the past three seasons. He is working his way back with some individual work and will look to return to team training before the end of the month. Regardless, the midfielder will be nothing more than a bench option once he returns to the pitch.

Seamus Coleman - Could play for U21 sideColeman (knee) has been involved in training and is expected to play with the U21 team. "Seamus is going well. He'll hopefully get involved in a game for the Under-21s this weekend...
ImpactColeman is inching closer to a return to the senior team after missing the first two months with a knee injury. If all goes well after playing for the U21 side, the midfielder could make his season debut before the end of November. He had started 20 of the 23 games played last campaign, totaling a goal while averaging less than two tackles per contest.

Ashley Young - Nets against BurnleyYoung scored once during Wednesday's 3-0 win over Burnley.
ImpactYoung served a one-match ban and got back in the starting XI for the EFL Cup clash. The right-back got on the scoresheet and has seemingly been the top choice at right-back even with Nathan Patterson fit once more. It's not clear who will get the nod for Saturday's clash with Brighton, though Young is certainly the incumbent.

Connor Roberts - Minor role off benchRoberts came off the bench for the final seven minutes of Wednesday's 3-0 loss to Everton.
ImpactRoberts served a one-match ban that ruled him out against Bournemouth and now got to return in the EFL Cup. The right-back being available once more should put him straight back into the starting XI for Saturday's clash with Crystal Palace, potentially sending Vitinho back to the bench.
