Faitout Maouassa - Sends in twelve crosses Maouassa came off the bench to deliver 12 crosses (two accurate) and take six corners in Sunday's 1-1 draw against Almeria.

Impact Maoussa was introduced the in the 33rd minute with manager Alexander Medina opting for an early tactical change with his side trailing to La Liga's bottom team. The midfielder went on to deliver over double the amount of crosses than any other player. He has only started two games this season.

Myrto Uzuni - Scores equalizer Uzuni scored once from five shots (two on target) in Sunday's 1-1 draw with Almeria.

Impact Uzani attempted more shots that any other player and it marked the third time this season that he has managed five shots in a game. He displayed great composure to finish with only the keeper to beat and now has seven for the season, making him Granada's top scorer with one more than Bryan Zaragoza.

Augusto Batalla - One conceded Batalla conceded once and made two saves in Sunday's 1-1 draw against Almeria.

Impact Batalla was a spectator for much of the game but pulled off a huge save late on to preserve a point, coming miles off his line to deny Alejandro Pozo. He is without a clean sheet since making his debut in January, conceding nine and making 21 saves in six games. He next comes up against eighth-placed Valencia on Saturday.

Ignasi Miquel - Set for suspension return Miquel has completed his one-game suspension and will be eligible to face Valencia on Saturday.

Impact Miquel has started in all but one of his 24 league appearances this season, so he's virtually a lock to return to the starting lineup when Granada takes on Valencia at home on Saturday. Miquel has racked up one goal, one assist and 92 clearances this season.

Gerard Gumbau - Reaches 10-card mark Gumbau picked up his 10th yellow card of the season in Sunday's draw against Almeria and will be suspended to face Valencia on Saturday.

Impact Gumbau is among the leaders in yellow cards, and he picked this last one despite playing just 25 minutes off the bench. This means the central midfielder will miss the match against Los Che, but his earliest chance to return will come next week at Villarreal on March 3.

Impact Uzuni assisted Facundo Pellistri's goal in the 60th minute Sunday, a goal which took the 2-1 lead. It marked Uzuni's first assist of the season to go with his team-high six goals. Impact Batalla conceded three goals in Sunday's wild draw, his most since joining Granada in January. He conceded two goals in the second half, both from outside the box. He faces a much easier matchup Sunday versus last place Almeria, a side which has scored just 22 goals in 23 league matches this season.

Lucas Boye - Suffers injury in leg Boye is in question for Sunday's contest against Barcelona after the club announced he went down during training with a fibrillar injury in the right leg.

Impact Boye may be heading for some time on the sidelines, as he has recently been diagnosed with an injury in the lower part of his leg. This could be an unfortunate blow for Granada, as the forward has only missed out on three starts all season, all of which being due to injury or suspension. He most likely won't play this weekend with only a few days to recover and will look for decent results from his testing, hoping to then be an option for the Feb. 18 contest against Almeria if he doesn't play Sunday.

Gonzalo Villar - Picks up fifth yellow card Villar recorded his fifth yellow card of the season against Las Palmas and will be suspended to face Barcelona on Sunday.

Impact Villar has started in each of his league appearances since Oct. 8, and he's delivered two-way value on a consistent basis, so his absence will be greatly felt against one of the best teams in the league. Villar's next chance to feature will come against Almeria on Feb. 18.

Sergio Ruiz - Finally logs assist Ruiz assisted once to go with one shot (zero on goal) and one chance created in Saturday's 1-1 draw against Las Palmas.

Impact Ruiz logged the assist to a goal scored by Bruno Mendez. It marks the former's first assist in La Liga action, which Granada was rewarded with after a season in Spain's second division. Ruiz is not expected to continue his goal-contributing ways, but his current form is at least better than usual.

Impact Despite conceding a goal yet again, Batalla at least made up for it somewhat by getting five saves on his part. Even without a clean sheet across his last four appearances, he averaged 4.3 saves and logged a reasonable 77.3 save percentage during the span.
