ImpactMaggiore was sent to the stands as he refused to play after being stripped of the captain armband, Sky Italy reports. He's in the final year of his contract and has been routinely linked with a move away, but it hasn't materialized yet. The situation might not change before the opener against Empoli. Kevin Agudelo, Jacopo Sala and Mehdi Bourabia started in the midfield sans Maggiore.
