Plays first half, scores goal Cascante bagged a goal in Sunday's loss against FC Dallas. He finished with one shot on target, two tackles, two clearances, one blocked shot and one interception.
Impact Cascante scored the 1-1 equalizer with a header from inside the box, as he was all alone on the edge of the six-yard box and placed the ball into the far post of the opposing keeper. Cascante is not a regular threat when it comes to offensive stats, though, and he should continue to provide most of his value on defense.

Impact Cascante will no longer have to miss Wednesday's match, which likely means he'll remain in the starting XI against the Whitecaps. He's started 12-straight matches, most of them next to Matt Besler, though Austin doesn't have a clean sheet in the last seven of those.
