Second assist of season Acosta had an assist while taking an off target shot, crossing eight times (one accurate) and creating three chances during Saturday's 2-1 loss to San Jose.
Impact Acosta set up Kwadwo Opoku in the 54th minute assisting LAFC's lone goal of the match. The assist was the second of the season for the midfielder as he led the team in both crosses and chances created in the loss.

Eight crosses vs DC Acosta had four shots (one on target), eight crosses (two accurate) and six corners in Tuesday's 1-0 win versus D.C. United.
Impact Acosta shouldered his usual 90 minute workload while leading his LAFC side in both crosses and corners for the contest. His four shots were also a season high for the midfielder. Carlos Vela was the only other LAFC player to attempt a corner in this one. On the year, Acosta has now tallied 92 crosses to go with 66 corners and continues to be highly involved at both ends of the pitch.

Finds net in win Acosta scored one goal from one shot and conceded a yellow card during Saturday's 4-1 win over Real Salt Lake.
Impact Acosta returned from his suspension for yellow card accumulation only to pick up another booking in addition to his goal. With one goal and one assist to go with nine chances created in his last four matches, Acosta isn't doing so bad if he can keep out of the referee's book.

Impact Acosta created two chances on the way to a stat sheet-filling performance. The midfielder also added four crosses on four corners and won a tackle. Acosta hasn't been lighting the league up offensively but his contributions on both sides of the ball have been invaluable to LAFC thus far in 2022. Unfortunately he will miss Friday's big match against the Sounders with a suspension for yellow card accumulation after picking up his fifth booking of the season on Sunday. Latif Blessing or Sebastian Mendez could replace him in midfield for the game.

Impact Acosta grabbed his first assist of the season on Friday, as his corner kick found the head of Jose Cifuentes to nod home inside the opening 20 minutes. He remained a set piece threat throughout the match, and that seems to be his most valuable attacking outlet on this team as he's primarily a defensive midfielder aside from those set piece deliveries.
