Impact Walker registered a rare assist in Saturday's match after finding Phil Foden for the opening goal of the match. It was Walker's first assist of the year and also his first since the 2021/22 campaign. However, he didn't contribute a whole lot in the defense, only notching two clearances. The defender had a lot of questions hanging over his head going into the season with Rico Lewis and Nathan Ake contending for more playing time and a possible move out with an expiring contract, but has silenced the questions by starting every match for City this season. He seems to still be a main part of Pep's plans and should continue in the starting role.
