Impact Arfsten was surprisingly left out of the starting XI Sunday but ultimately helped his side force a shootout. He was subbed onto the pitch in the 54th minute and less than a minute later scored the opening goal of the match off a Cucho Hernandez assist. However, Arfsten missed a crucial penalty kick in the shootout and he and the Crew were eliminated from the playoffs. He had a productive season with Columbus as he scored five goals and recorded five assists through 33 appearances (24 starts).
