Robin Lod - Excellent start to 2024 Lod scored one goal to go with three shots (two on goal), 10 crosses (two accurate) and eight corners in Saturday's 2-1 victory versus Austin FC.

Impact Minnesota's team began its 2024 season Saturday, and it also marked Lod's official return from a torn meniscus he suffered back in May 2023. The return was a resounding success. Lod scored Minnesota United's first goal of 2024. Despite not logging an assist, he also attempted more crosses and corners than any of his teammates. Despite logging 10 appearances in 2023, Lod already has more crosses, corners and goals this year than last year. The midfielder is already off to a great start putting 2023 in the rear-view mirror and will look to make 2024 his ultimate bounce-back season.

Impact Reynoso had to leave Tuesday's training session after suffering yet another setback while rehabbing from an MCL sprain, and even though his return to training is a positive sign, he might not be ready to play on such a quick turnaround. Reynoso notched six goals and four assists across 18 appearances during the 2023 MLS season, and his absence would create a massive gap for Minnesota United in terms of creativity in the final third. If he ends up being ruled out, then his next chance to feature would come against Columbus on March 3.

Impact Lod missed out on much of last after tearing his meniscus in late May but looks to be an option for the club's first contest of the season after playing in a friendly match with the club. The attacker started in 10 of the 12 games he was an option for last season, so he will hope to reclaim that spot to begin the season. If he does earn that role to start the season, he will be in line for his fifth straight season as a regular starter in Minnesota.

Impact Reynoso will not be holding Loon fans hostage to see him play once again, having reported to training after not reporting to the club until four months into last season. However, there was still a slight scare this season, as the attacker did not arrive with the team until after missing the first week of training. The club will just be happy to know he is with the team and will be there to start the season, as he still proves to be their best player, notching 10 goal contributions in only 18 appearances last campaign.

After only playing in 40 percent of last season, it will be crucial for him to take part in all the team's contests in 2024 if they want any shot at making the playoffs and getting a chance at the MLS Cup.
