ImpactPulido recorded more chances created and shots than any other Sporting Kansas City footballer. Despite logging no goals or assists across SKC's last three games, he remained valuable with his efforts. Pulido created nine chances and attempted six shots during that span.

ImpactMelia recorded his worst stat line this year. Fortunately for him, that statistical output seems to be an anomaly. Melia had not conceded more than two goals during any of his previous 17 appearances. He will try to redeem himself against Chicago on Sept. 11.

ImpactZusi supplied contrasting stat lines during his last two games against LAFC. He went from recording multiple assists one game to logging no accurate crosses the next. Unfortunately for Zusi, those have been a recurring trend since Sporting Kansas City's Aug. 5 matchup against LAFC. He recorded only one accurate cross across six appearances.

Roger Espinoza - Receives red cardEspinoza received a red card during the 58th minute of Sporting Kansas City's 4-0 loss Friday against LAFC.

ImpactEspinoza received a red card for both tackling and stepping on the right ankle of Cristian Arango. The former will sit out at least two games. Unfortunately for Espinoza, the suspension could give Cameron Duke or Jose Agustin Mauri multiple chances to prove their worth.

ImpactEdwards created more chances than any other LAFC footballer recorded Friday. Though the Canadian did not directly contribute to goals, he successfully prevented them from Sporting Kansas City. Edwards' three interceptions were also a team-best tally.

ImpactBecause multiple forwards were unavailable, LAFC started Cal Jennings before replacing him with Musovski after the former disappointed across one half. The latter proceeded to record his second assist this year. Though likely unavailable against Real Salt Lake on Sept. 12, Musovski is a capable and proven option when available.
