Simon Walde - Set to miss more time Walde (ankle) is set to miss the next couple of months after undergoing surgery following a relapse in his injury during his rehabilitation process, according to Dirk Krumpelmann a...

Impact Walde had a rough end to the last campaign after he was sidelined for the remainder of the season in March due to an angle ligament tear. He was recovering well over the summer before suffering a setback, requiring him to undergo surgery and extend his absence a couple more months. That said, his recovery will probably take around two to three months now, likely to return sometime in October or November. Luckily for the club, he wasn't expected to see much time with the first team, probably going on loan once fit.

Jan Olschowsky - Injured knee during preseason Olschowsky has suffered a knee injury as his loan move is put on hold.

Impact Olschowsky was on his way to a loan move out of Gladbach, however suffered a knee injury and is set for scans. He failed to make a Bundesliga appearances last season, making four appearances overall since joining the side back in 2022.

Jonas Omlin - Allows four in loss Omlin made seven saves and conceded four goals during Saturday's 4-0 loss against Stuttgart.

Impact Omlin was beaten twice each half but was still one of his team's top performers as he prevented a much bigger loss with his interventions. The goalkeeper has unfortunately missed most of the season due to injuries and played only seven times, with 29 saves and 18 goals allowed.

Moritz Nicolas - Heroic for point Nicolas made seven saves and secured a clean sheet in Sunday's 0-0 draw versus Union Berlin.

Impact Nicolas stopped all seven shots he faced, doing incredibly well to slow down the surprisingly good Union attack. Nicolas has done so well he's made the loss of starter Jonas Omlin far less of a blow. Heading into 2024/25 there could be a real goalkeeping competition for the top job in Gladbach.

Marvin Friedrich - Two shots in draw Friedrich recorded two shots (one on goal) in Sunday's 0-0 draw versus Union Berlin.

Impact Friedrich sent in a pair of distant shots during Sunday's draw, though only one of them was on net during the tightly-contested draw. The defender is working his way into a large role as others in the backline get injured and give Friedrich a chance to step into the starting XI. Overall he's done well with his chances and this clean sheet is another solid defensive showing.

Ko Itakura - Three shots Sunday Itakura had three shots (zero on goal) in Sunday's 0-0 draw versus Union Berlin.

Impact Itakura was bombing forward whenever he had the chance and he sent a few speculative efforts in to try and cause some issues. He failed to do so as most of his shots were tame to say the least. Still the defender did earn the clean sheet and was looking solid back in the starting XI Sunday.

Tomas Cvancara - Disappointing in draw Cvancara had three shots (two on goal), one cross (one accurate) and one chance created in Sunday's 0-0 draw against Union Berlin.

Impact Cvancara didn't have the best match Sunday, he had a few chances to break the deadlock and was unable to do so. Cvancara has been streaky to say the least throughout the season, but on the whole he's been pretty good during his first season with Gladbach. The forward will need to find some form to close the season if he wants to have a secure role heading into 2024/25.

Joe Scally - Assists off bench Saturday Scally assisted once to go with three crosses (one accurate) and one chance created in Saturday's 4-3 loss against Hoffenheim.

Impact Scally recorded his third assist of the season Saturday as his cross in the 78th minute found Robin Hack's head to cut the deficit to 3-2. It came on the only chance he created in the match and marked his second goal contribution off the bench this season. He also recorded three crosses and drew one foul in his 21 minutes off the bench.

Tomas Cvancara - Takes three shots as sub Cvancara had three shots (one on goal), one cross (one accurate) and one chance created in Saturday's 2-1 defeat versus Borussia Dortmund.

Impact Cvancara subbed on in the second half and still managed to take the second-most shots for Gladbach in the match. The forward came off bench for the third time since recovering from the ankle injury that forced him to miss 10 games. Before that, he had 13 appearances (six starts) with four goals and one assist.

Impact Ngoumou has been an effective goalscorer for Monchengladbach whenever he is part of the team's starting XI. He has four goals across his last 18 games. But take away the substitute appearances in those 18 games, and Ngoumou has four goals across his last six starts, an excellent scoring rate.

Impact Wober looks to have avoided a severe injury after exiting Saturday's match injury, already training individually Monday. This is fantastic news for the club, as the defender does not look set to miss much time, if any at all, with him being a regular starter in the middle of the defense, having yet to miss a start when available. With that being said, he will hope to return Tuesday in the DFB Pokal, although he will have to undergo testing before the match to solidify his status.

Franck Honorat - Scores Gladbach's first goal Honorat scored a goal while taking four shots (one on goal), crossing nine times (three accurate) and creating three chances during Saturday's 3-3 draw with Koln.

Impact Honorat found the back of the net in the 32nd minute scoring Gladbach's first goal while leading the team in both crosses and chances created. The attacker has two goals and an assist across his last three Bundesliga matches while taking six shots, creating 11 chances and crossing 23 times.
