Appears for Guatemala Hagen (thigh) was in the net during the 1-1 draw to Guatemala during the CONCACAF World Cup Qualifiers.
Impact Despite still being left out the squad sheet, Hagen was able to play with the Guatemalan national team during their recent World Cup Qualifiers. He is not expected to make another appearance for Columbus this season, unless something happens to first string keeper Patrick Schulte.

Impact Hagen has been the starter in goal in the last three games for Columbus and is set to miss up to four MLS games due to international duty and depending on how well Guatemala performs in the Gold Cup. Hagen will for sure miss Saturday's clash against Vancouver and could also be out for the matches against Atlanta, Philadelphia and Seattle if Guatemala reaches the final. Until he returns, Evan Bush could see increased playing time for the Crew.

Impact Hagen drew his first start of the season Saturday after Schulte was injured during warmups. His defense struggled versus Charlotte allowing 10 shots on target. Although Hagen made seven saves, he also conceded three goals including a Pep Biel winner in the 75th minute. Inks multi-year extension Hagen has signed a new contract extension with Columbus, according to his club.
Impact Hagen is not leaving Columbus any time soon, as he inked a deal to remain with the club until the 2026 season, holding club options for the 2027 and 2028 seasons. He merely served as a backup in the 2024 season, only seeing the start in three of his four appearances while notching five goals allowed and 18 saves. That said, he is likely a player for the future, hoping to see his time on the field rise over the next few campaigns.
