Impact Ginter will miss out on just his second match of the season with an Achilles injury. He has averaged about 3.8 clearances per match, with 37 in the last eight games. The defender had also started the last 17 contests in a row, breaking his streak Friday. This is expected to change the lineup of the back line for the team, with Kiliann Sildillia expected to start at center back alongside Manuel Gulde, with Jordy Makengo an option to start at right back for Freiburg.

Injury and rotation have hit elsewhere but Doan has largely remain untouched as a certain piece of the first team.

Impact Rohl has truly been a revelation in 2023/24, he is scoring and assisting with ease and has played his way into a major role in the Freiburg starting XI. He will continue to see major minutes in all competitions as his good form continues to cause an issue for defenders. Rohl looked to be straight back to his best after an injury threatened his availability pre-match, going the full 90 minutes.
