Andrew Thomas - Inks new deal Thomas has agreed to a new three-year contract with Seattle, the club announced Tuesday. Impact Thomas will be remaining with Seattle for the next couple of seasons, as he is now on contract until 2027 with an option for the 2028 and 2029 seasons. The 25-year-old currently serves as the backup, although he has appeared five times this season, notching one clean sheet, seven goals allowed and 18 saves during those games. However, this contract could imply he is the starter in the future, possibly even next season, as regular starter Stefan Frei is 38 and getting close to the end of his career.
