Mohamed Elyounoussi - Starts 23 matches this season Elyounoussi started 23 of his 30 appearances this year in which he recorded four goals on 43 shots (19 on target), two assists and 29 crosses (three accurate).

Impact After making just 16 appearances back in 2018-19 while with Southampton, Elynounoussi forced himself onto the pitch with much more consistency. While the attacking midfielder shouldn't be expected to ever lead the team in goals, he certainly is capable of pushing the attack.

Oriol Romeu - Offensive upside limited Romeu appeared in 36 matches (34 starts) for the club this season but managed just two goals on 24 shots (four on target), two assists and 13 crosses (five accurate).

Impact While Romeu's productivity in the final third was limited, he did produce decent defensive stats with 77 tackles, 51 interceptions and 40 clearances. Fantasy players shouldn't be expected to see significantly more offense out of the defensive midfielder heading into the next season but he should still produce those defensive stats.

Che Adams - Finishes second on team in goals Adams recorded seven goals on 49 shots (24 on target) in 30 appearances this season, ending the year trailing James Ward-Prowse (10) for the team goal lead.

Impact With Adams appearing in six fewer matches than the previous season, it shouldn't come as a surprise to see his goal total drop, along with his number of shots, assists and chances created, all of which were down compared to 2020-21. The emergence of Armando Broja could serve to further limit Adams' opportunities next season, which should serve as a red flag to fantasy players.

Impact Outside of his goals, Broja didn't offer much in terms of value in the offensive third of the pitch considering he didn't have a single accurate cross or assists in 32 appearances (21 starts). Still, the forward should remain a top-half target heading into next season and could challenge the likes of Che Adams and James Ward-Prowse for the team lead in goals.

Impact Lyanco had plenty to do behind the ball as Leicester dominated the match and sent wave after wave of attacks forward. The defender made 15 appearances and nine starts in 2021/22, making him a minimal fantasy option in his first season with Southampton. The defender will hope to be a more consistent part of the starting XI if he can avoid injury troubles moving forward.
