John Pulskamp - Solid outside of own-goal Pulskamp scored an own goal and made four saves in Wednesday's 1-1 tie versus Minnesota United.

Impact Pulskamp stopped all four Minnesota shots during Wednesday's draw, but scored one own goal. This was the keepers first appearance of the season and in all reality it was a solid one outside of his blunder. Tim Melia is dealing with a shoulder injury and a poor season in general, this switch to the 21-year-old Pulskamp could be an indication of his role as the future goalkeeper in Kansas City.

Felipe Hernandez - Busy in draw Hernandez had one shot (zero on goal), three crosses (zero accurate), and two corners in Wednesday's 1-1 tie against Minnesota United.

Impact Hernandez filled the stat sheet on both sides of the ball during Wednesday's draw. The midfielder sent in three crosses while adding four tackles and clearances. Hernandez has been having his most involved season for Kansas City with 21 appearances already and has added one goal and three assists in that time. Hernandez should be back in the first team for Sunday's trip to Salt Lake, though he may be on the bench due to the short rest.

Impact Pierre opened his assists account in his third start in a row for Kansas City as he continues to replace the injured Graham Zusi (quadriceps). Pierre certainly won't hold onto the starting job when Zusi returns but he has been a surprisingly competent replacement since taking over for Zusi. Pierre's next chance to start is a Sunday trip to Salt Lake.

Impact Russell came off the bench for the final 33 minutes of Wednesday's draw and scored the equalizer. The right-winger has been a consistent part of the Kansas City first team though he's having one of his worst seasons since joining the club. Russell has yet to earn an assist in 2022, a disappointing return considering his brilliance in 2021. Next up is a Sunday trip to Salt Lake on short rest where Russell will likely return to the starting XI.

William Agada - Still in visa process Agada won't be available for Wednesday's trip to Minnesota United while he goes through the immigration process, according to Chad Smith of Blue Testament.

Impact Agada just signed from Hapoel Jerusalem in late-June and likely needs a few weeks before he's eligible to play. With striker a position of issue for SKC, Agada will have plenty of chances to prove himself once he's available.

Pierre offers little offensive upside but has now made an appearance in six matches in a row while starting the most recent two, pointing towards an uptick in playing time moving forward even with Zusi healthy.

The right winger came into 2022 with an exceptional 16-goal, seven-assist campaign in 2021 and was looking to continue his red-hot form, but has mostly disappointed in 2022. Russell and a scuffling Kansas City attack will hope to spring board from this win and build good form during Wednesday's mid-week trip to Minnesota.
