Loaned to Tottenham Werner completed a loan move to Tottenham from Leipzig for the remainder of the season, the club announced.

Impact Werner could also have his loan made permanent after the season. The striker has largely fallen out of favor in Leipzig this season with eight appearances (two starts) and just two goals in the Bundesliga. He will get the chance for a more substantial role with Tottenham, either on the wing or leading the line himself. Richarlison will likely be Werner's main competition for starting minutes in North London.
