There were hopes Mamardashvili could produce a breakout campaign after earning eight clean sheets in 18 matches in the 2021/222 season. That sort of pace isn't on the cards but Mamardashvili has shown confidence in net and as the Valencia defense improves, he could be set for a strong second half.
