Alex Baena - Won't face Valencia Baena won't be part of the Villarreal squad for Saturday's game against Valencia, Javi Mata of Diario AS reports.

Impact Villarreal are doing the smart thing with the winger, who represented Spain in both the 2024 Euros and the 2024 Olympics, winning the gold medal in both tournaments. Baena will have some much-needed time off, though he should be ready to return when Villarreal take on Mallorca after the international break.
