Impact Takaoka had little to do to earn his second clean sheet of the season. He has allowed just seven goals in seven matches while completing 16 saves. The keeper is averaging 2.2 saves a game after failing to record a save in the last two contests. He should have another easy match with a trip to Austin on Saturday, who have scored three goals in the last five games.

Impact Takaoka had one of the easiest days he will see in MLS, facing opposition down to 10 men early while his attack stormed forward at every turn. Takaoka only faced a pair of shots and stopped both to earn his first MLS clean sheet. Through six matches Takaoka has conceded seven times while making 16 saves.

Signs with Vancouver Takaoka signed with Vancouver on a two-year contract with an option for 2025, Vancouver announced Friday.
Impact Takaoka has completed a transfer to MLS with Vancouver, where he will look to provide some competition in net. The goalkeeper last played with Yokohama in the J1 League, where he totaled 11 appearances throughout his career.
