Impact According to Louisiana State's head coach Matt McMahon, Cook is suspended for his "failure to meet the standards" of LSU's basketball program. Per Zach Nagy of Sports Illustrated, there is no timetable for Cook's return, meaning he will be out indefinitely. There is now a good chance he is unavailable for the remainder of Louisiana State's 2023-24 season, including regular-season games and the 2024 SEC Tournament. Without him available, Trae Hannibal is expected to continue being the Tigers' primary option at point guard instead.
