Off to hot start Cook tallied 28 points (11-18 FG, 4-6 3PT, 0-1 FT) to accompany four rebounds and four assists in Tuesday's 70-67 win over SE Louisiana. Impact Cook appeared in 20 games for LSU last season, averaging just 7.5 minutes and scoring 3.1 points off the bench, his point, rebound and assist totals Tuesday night all marked career highs. As a starter this season, the 6-foot freshman finds himself in a much better position as one of the primary scoring options for the Big Wave, expect his scoring to go down, though it can be expected that Cook continues to be an all-around player, collecting rebounds and assists throughout the year.
