Impact Pickett put up a huge display to secure a narrow win over the Hawkeyes. It was a bounce-back performance after he scored just 10 in the win over Delaware State and the first time he made over half his shots over the last four games as well. Put all of this together and Pickett has the right stuff for a hot start in conference play.

Strong in loss Pickett had 13 points (5-14 FG, 1-5 3Pt, 2-2 FT), 17 rebounds, eight assists, one block and two steals across 37 minutes during Wednesday's 67-58 loss to Michigan State.

Impact Pickett hasn't been able to guarantee his team wins, but exceptional work in rebounds and assists is bolstered by a high number of shots taken and often good efficiency too. Even if the Nittany Lions will have a tough time staying afloat in conference play, Pickett will be integral to any success they do have.
