Impact Mahorcic last played Dec. 6, but is apparently nearing a return. Once he does officially get the green light, look for the team to ease him back into the swing of things given his lengthy absence. His next opportunity will come Saturday at Boston College.

Impact Smith had massive woes from the field and missed nine of his 11 shots, but he still salvaged his fantasy performance after delivering a season-high mark in assists. This was a subpar effort for Smith, but he's averaging 19.2 points, 3.0 rebounds and 3.4 assists per game since the start of January.

Impact Burns needed 21 shots to score 24 points, but he still posted a solid stat line while ending just two rebounds shy from posting a double-double. The big man has been outstanding of late with nine games with 10 or more points, and he's averaging 17.0 points, 5.2 rebounds and 2.3 assists per contest during that nine-game span.

Impact Morsell may not always fill up the box score, but he's now seen 35 or more minutes in eight consecutive games for the Wolfpack, over which he's produced a solid 10.8 ppg and 4.8 rpg. The senior has also been more efficient this year, shooting 47.8 percent from the field and 43.1 percent from distance -- both of which represent career highs. He'll continue to be a key factor for the Wolfpack as the team pushes for an NCAA Tournament bid.

Considering Mahorcic didn't dress for Saturday's matchup at Wake Forest, it seems unlikely that return would happen Wednesday at Florida State. Still, seeing the court again this season seems like a realistic possibility for the 6-10 senior. The Wolfpack could certainly use the depth down low as the team looks to lock up an NCAA Tournament bid.
