Puka Nacua - Status up in the air for Thursday Nacua is currently being evaluated for the leg injury he suffered Saturday against Wyoming, Kevin Reynolds of The Salt Lake Tribune reports

Impact Nacua returned to action Saturday against Wyoming, after he was sidelined the previous two weeks with an ankle injury. However, the 6-foot-2 receiver was forced out of the team's Week 4 contest against the Cowboys during the fourth quarter, leaving his status for Thursday's game against Utah State in jeopardy. In the two games played this season, Nacua amassed four receptions for 48 yards, while he also added 90 yards and two scores on four rushing attempts in that span. Fellow WRs Gunner Romney (abdomen) and Chase Roberts (undisclosed) are both listed as probable to play Thursday against the Aggies, and they should benefit along with Brayden Cosper and Kody Epps should Nacua eventually be ruled out.

Keanu Hill - Top BYU receiver for career night Hill led an injury-depleted BYU receiving corps with five catches for 160 yards and touchdowns in the Cougars' 38-24 win over Wyoming on Saturday, Sept. 24.

Impact It was a career game for the sophomore that included a 68-yard touchdown pass. Hill could have another big game on Thursday night against Utah State if any or all of the other injured BYU receivers, Gunner Romney, Puka Nacua, and Chase Roberts, miss the game.

Miles Davis - Breaks out against Wyoming Davis ran 13 times for 131 yards for a career-best in the Cougars' 38-24 win over Wyoming on Saturday, Sept. 24.

Impact The red-shirted freshman threw his hat in the ring to become the main running back over Christopher Brooks and Lopini Katoa. Both of those backs combined for 7 carries and 27 rushing yards against the Cowboys. Since the opening game against South Florida where Brooks ran for 135 yards, the Cougars running game has struggled so Davis is trying to fill that void. Davis and the rest of the BYU running game could be in for a big night on Thursday when they host Utah State who is near the bottom of the FBS in rushing defense.

Hall's fourth touchdown pass of the night, a 68-yard strike to Keanu Hill was the longest touchdown pass of Hall's career. The junior might have a tougher time throwing the ball on Thursday against Utah State who is a top 50 defense against the pass. The Aggies' numbers though might be deceptive since their schedule has been relatively easy except for powerhouse Alabama.
