Brings in receiving score Edwards recorded 29 rushing yards over five carries while hauling in all four of his targets for 21 yards and a touchdown during Saturday's 27-14 victory over Iowa. Impact Edwards played his biggest receiving role of the season after returning from a leg injury suffered in Week 2's win against Hawaii. While the No. 2 back played a limited rushing role behind Blake Corum (29 rushes, 133 yards), the 6-foot-1 sophomore still managed to account for quarterback J.J. McCarthy's lone passing touchdown with a 12-yard connection midway through the third quarter. Edwards totaled 15 rushes for 96 yards over the first two weeks of the season, and he should see increased usage as he continues to work his way back from injury.
