Katin Houser - Struggles in relief Houser completed 11 of 28 passes for 84 yards and one interception during Saturday's 55-24 defeat to Charlotte.

Impact Houser took over the offense late in the second quarter after Jake Garcia threw his 12th interception through six games this season. Houser was unable to stake a claim for the starting job though as he completed fewer than 40 percent of his passes and failed to reach 100 yards through the air. Garcia will likely remain the starter, but if his turnover problems continue than Houser could see another opportunity.

Jake Garcia - Benched in Saturday's loss Garcia was 6-for-8 passing for 111 yards, one touchdown and one interception during Saturday's 55-24 defeat against Charlotte.

Impact Garcia was benched late in the second quarter Saturday shortly after he threw an interception, his 12th through six games this season. Katin Houser played the remainder of the game but did not look good as he completed fewer than 40 percent of his passes. Given how poorly Houser played Garcia likely won't lose the starting job, however he clearly has a short leash due to his turnover issues.

Anthony Smith - Catches long TD Saturday Smith hauled in 2 of 3 targets for 65 yards and one touchdown during Saturday's 30-20 victory versus Texas-San Antonio.

Impact After being shut out last week despite seeing six targets, Smith bounced back Saturday with a 53-yard touchdown catch in the third quarter. He only made one catch outside of that big play. He has now gone for over 56 yards in four of five games this season, however he has caught just two passes in his last two games after catching 15 over his first three.

Winston Wright Jr. - Catches TD Saturday Wright logged three receptions (on six targets) for 56 yards and one touchdown during Saturday's 30-20 victory against Texas-San Antonio.

Impact Wright caught his second touchdown of the season Saturday, a 40-yard reception in the third quarter. He was also tied for a team-best six targets, his third game with six or more targets in the last four weeks. He has posted over 45 receiving yards in each of the last four games, a promising sign of consistency which is paired with his big-play upside.

Rahjai Harris - Inefficient on high volume Harris logged 25 rushes for 60 yards and reeled in 1 of 2 targets for 10 yards during Saturday's 30-20 win versus Texas-San Antonio.

Impact Harris received over 25 touches for the second time this season, however he was unable to do much with that extremely high volume. Despite the poor stat line at the end of the game, it was still very promising that the Pirates are emphasizing getting Harris the ball so often. He should be able to have a more efficient outing Saturday at Charlotte, a team which has struggled against the run this season.

Impact Garcia's 294 yards, two passing touchdown and a rushing touchdown were enough to earn him a nice outing from a fantasy perspective, but there were still some concerns with his performance. He threw two more interceptions -- bringing him up to 11 through five games -- and failed to complete 50 percent of his passes. He hit a few big plays in the game, including 40-yard and 53-yard touchdown passes in the third quarter, but his inconsistency in the passing game is still a concern moving forward.

Impact Sowell set season highs across the board Saturday with five catches for 72 yards. While he was kept out of the endzone for the third straight week, he has clearly established himself as Jake Garcia's favorite target. While Garcia has struggled so far this season, he throws the ball enough -- especially when the Pirates are losing -- to allow Sowell to produce.

Rahjai Harris - Decent on the ground Saturday Harris tallied 13 rushes for 47 yards and one touchdown and reeled in all two targets for eight yards during Saturday's 35-24 defeat against Liberty.

Impact Harris scored his third rushing touchdown of the season Saturday with a two-yard rush in the third quarter. He also set season highs in the passing game with a measly two catches for eight yards. It was not a special performance by any means, but his consistent workload gives him a solid floor every week.

Impact Garcia struggled in the passing game Saturday as he set season lows in completion percentage and passing yards. He also threw his ninth interception of the season. He made up for some of that with 28 yards and a touchdown on the ground, however his continued struggles in the passing game are a major concern moving forward.
