Addison Ostrenga - Out multiple weeks Ostrenga (arm) is out for multiple weeks, David Eickholt of 247Sports reports.

Impact Ostrenga sitting out multiple weeks will push his return date to November at the earliest. They include games scheduled at Michigan State (Oct. 19) and against Northwestern (Oct. 26). Currently, the earliest Ostrenga can play is a Wisconsin-Iowa matchup scheduled for Nov. 2.

The electric junior running back did add a new highlight to the tape against the Huskies, as he connected with quarterback Cade McNamara for an 18-yard receiving score, his first of the season through the air. The historic pace of Ashton Jeanty is unfortunately taking some of the limelight away from Johnson's fantastic first half, as the junior has now run for 937 yards and 12 touchdowns through Iowa's first six games while averaging a beastly 7.9 YPC. Johnson will look to improve those numbers in a road battle against Michigan State this coming Saturday.

Impact McNamara wasn't asked to do much on a day in which the Iowa offense leaned on the running game and blew out Washington. The senior quarterback did manage to find the end zone for the first time since Week 1, connecting with running back Kaleb Johnson and receiver Dayton Howard on passes of 18 and 33 yards, respectively. McNamara will hope to use this week's performance to build positive momentum heading into a road matchup against Michigan State.

Impact Ostrenga missed the Week 7 contest against Washington due to an injury and was spotted with his arm in a sling, so it wouldn't be surprising if he misses this upcoming contest as well. Ostrenga has 11 catches for 63 yards and a touchdown this season, and if absence could open the door for more looks toward names such as Hayden Large and Zach Ortwerth.
