Scores in big win Allen had 14 rushes for 91 yards and one touchdown and hauled in his only target for one yard during Saturday's 51-15 win versus Maryland.

Impact Allen scored his fourth touchdown of the season with a 10-yard rushing score in the fourth quarter, putting the Nittany Lions up 38-15. The 222-pounder also had one of his more efficient outings of the season, averaging over 6.0 yards per carry for just the second time in nine games. Allen's split carries with fellow sophomore Nicholas Singleton this season; but, the Nittany Lions appeared to ride the hotter hand in Week 10, as Allen tallied 71 more rushing yards across six more rushing attempts than Singleton. These two will likely both need to play vital roles in order to take down the conference's top dawgs Michigan in Week 11, though the Wolverines' grueling rushing defense will pose a significant obstacle.

Nearly logs 100 total yards Allen recorded 18 carries for 81 yards and gathered in both targets for 13 yards during Saturday's 33-24 victory against Indiana.

Impact Allen paced the Nittany Lions in both rushing attempts and yards ahead of fellow sophomore Nicholas Singleton (15 carries, 50 yards, one touchdown). The 222-pound Allen has been the more effective between-the-tackles rusher for Penn State this season, averaging 4.6 yards per carry. However, Singleton has, at times, provided more explosiveness in both the rushing and receiving games, and he's totaled a team-high eight touchdowns compared to just three for Allen. Expect these two to continue splitting duties in the rushing game moving forward.

Logs less than 10 carries again Allen notched nine rushes for 26 yards and caught 1 of 3 targets for four yards during Saturday's 20-12 loss to Ohio State.

Impact Allen logged single-digit carries for the third game in a row. While he tied with fellow sophomore Kaytron Allen for a team high in carries Saturday, the latter running back more than doubled Allen in carries over the previous two games. Nonetheless, these two could both see significant success when Penn State faces Indiana in Week 9.

While he had additional time to recover coming off a bye, it appeared the Nittany Lions didn't want to put too much on his back in this uneven contest, as fellow sophomore Nicholas Singleton led the team with 15 carries. Allen and Singleton will likely both see significant roles when the Nittany Lions take on Ohio State in Columbus this coming Saturday.
