Impact Sampson found the end zone in the fourth quarter, connecting with quarterback Lunch Winfield on an eight-yard pass to bring the Ragin' Cajuns within a touchdown with under eight minutes left in the game. The 6-foot-4 receiver finished the season with 32 receptions for 537 yards and six touchdowns across 10 games. Barring an entry into the transfer portal, he should be back as a top option within the Louisiana passing attack next year.

Impact Despite a rough effort in the bowl game, Perry compiled a solid junior season, racking up 138 carries for 689 yards and a career-best eight rushing touchdowns. He also added career-highs with 16 grabs for 101 yards as a receiver. He'll enter the offseason with one more year of eligibility remaining and should operate alongside Bill Davis in the backfield again in 2026, assuming the pair opts to stick around.

Impact Davis stepped up big for the Ragin' Cajuns who needed this win to make themselves Bowl eligible. Davis scored a touchdown for the third straight game on Saturday, breaking free for a 76-yard touchdown run in the fourth quarter. The Sophomore running back had a strong showing in the 2025 regular season while working in a time share with Zylan Perry, running for 743 yards and six touchdowns.

Zylan Perry - Slow day in win Perry compiled six rushes for 20 yards and hauled in neither of his two targets for zero yards during Saturday's 30-27 overtime victory over Louisiana-Monroe.

Impact Perry took a back seat to fellow running back Bill Davis on Saturday, the latter of which totalled six more carries, 90 more yards and a touchdown. The 20 yards, set a new low for the Junior running back, who will finish the 2025 regular season with 664 yards and eight touchdowns, but will have another shot at closing the season on a high, with the Ragin' Cajuns Bowl game qualification.

Walker Howard - Enters in fourth quarter Howard completed six of nine passes for 44 yards during Saturday's 30-27 overtime victory over Louisiana-Monroe. He also had five rushes for 33 yards.

Impact Howard was forced into action on Saturday in the fourth quarter after Lunch Winfield got banged up "pretty bad" according to head coach Michael Desmoreaux. The Week starter did enough to help the Ragin' Cajuns survive and allow the to be Bowl eligible with that sixth win. In 2025, Haward threw for 155 yards and three interceptions. Winfield will presumably be the starter if health allows for it during the team's Bowl game.
