Seth Henigan - Quiet in Saturday's win Henigan completed 26 of 41 passes for 227 yards during Saturday's 24-7 victory against Middle Tennessee State.

Impact Henigan failed to throw a touchdown for the first time this season Saturday, but he still played well in the dominant win. He completed 63 percent of his passes and threw for 227 yards -- a mark he has his in four of five games this season. However, since Memphis running backs scored three touchdowns inside the four-yard line, Henigan did not have a productive fantasy outing. He will likely be relied on more throughout the rest of the season as he plays only conference opponents from here on out.

Impact Despite breaking out during Memphis' latest game, Taylor could have done more had it not been for an injury that took him out of action late. With positive momentum, he is questionable for the Tigers' upcoming matchup Saturday against Middle Tennessee State.

Roc Taylor - Breaks out in Saturday's loss Taylor gathered in 6 of 10 targets for 100 yards and one touchdown during Saturday's 56-44 loss versus Navy.

Impact Taylor had his first 100-yard outing of the season Saturday and capped off the performance with a 37-yard touchdown reception in the third quarter. He also set a season-high with 10 targets, which ranked second on the team. It was an unusual game for Memphis as quarterback Seth Henigan threw the ball 56 times, an uncharacteristically high number for the run-heavy Tigers. Taylor has received consistent targets in "normal" Henigan games though, so while Saturday's performance should not be considered his benchmark, it's well within his range of outcomes even when Henigan doesn't throw the ball 56 times.

Koby Drake - Breaks out versus Navy Drake hauled in 9 of 12 targets for 102 yards during Saturday's 56-44 loss versus Navy.

Impact Drake set season highs across the board Saturday, logging nine receptions for over 100 yards on a team-high 12 targets. He had a quiet start to the season despite receiving a decent target share, but was able to truly break out with Seth Henigan throwing the ball 56 times. Unfortunately for Drake, Henigan will likely not be throwing the ball that much for the rest of the season, so Drake could revert back to his unproductive performances.

Mario Anderson Jr. - Excellent in loss to Navy Anderson tallied 17 rushes for 117 yards and three touchdowns and reeled in 5 of 7 targets for 17 yards during Saturday's 56-44 loss versus Navy.

Impact Anderson led the Tigers' backfield once again Saturday and put together his best outing of the season despite the negative game script. He scored three times on the ground and rushed for 117 yards on nearly seven yards per carry. He also stay productive in the passing game and set season highs with five receptions on seven targets. Even though Brandon Thomas got his fair share of work, this is clearly Anderson's backfield and he has proven his ability to be extremely productive regardless of if the Tigers are winning or losing.

Brandon Thomas - Productive in loss to Navy Thomas posted 12 rushes for 125 yards and one touchdown during Saturday's 56-44 defeat to Navy.

Impact Despite logging fewer carries than Mario Anderson, Thomas still had a very productive outing in Saturday's loss. A lot of his production came on a 57-yard rushing touchdown in the first quarter, but he ran well outside of that too. With Gregory Desrosiers (collarbone) out multiple weeks, Thomas will be the lone back behind Mario Anderson and should see enough work to stay productive.

Seth Henigan - Productive despite loss to Navy Henigan completed 32 of 56 passes for 371 yards, two touchdowns and one interception during Saturday's 56-44 defeat against Navy. He also had eight rushes for 29 yards.

Impact Henigan was forced to throw the ball a lot Saturday, and his stats benefitted. He threw for over 370 yards and a pair of touchdowns, in addition to rushing for a season-high 29 yards on eight carries. He threw two touchdowns for the third time this season, however he threw a pick-six in the final minute to clinch the win for Navy. It's unlikely that Henigan throws 56 passes again in a game for the rest of the season, however he has proven he can put up similar numbers to Saturday's performance on far fewer attempts.

Impact Desrosiers being out multiple weeks indicates his unavailability for the 2024 Tigers' next game, currently against Middle Tennessee State on Sept. 28. If their schedule is unchanged, he may not need to log multiple DNPs. The team has a bye week before being scheduled for South Florida on Oct. 11.
