Koby Drake - 82 yards in Saturday's win Drake caught 5 of 7 targets for 82 yards during Saturday's 52-44 victory over North Texas.

Impact Drake had one of his best performances of the season Saturday as he recorded his second-most receiving yards with 82. He also put up second bests with five receptions on seven targets. While it was a good performance, the fact that he has still not found the end zone through seven games has severely limited his upside.

Mario Anderson Jr. - Scores four TDs Saturday Anderson logged 22 carries for 183 yards and four touchdowns and hauled in 5 of 7 targets for 27 yards during Saturday's 52-44 win versus North Texas.

Impact Anderson found the end zone four times Saturday, bringing him up to 13 total touchdowns through seven games this season. He also ran for a season-high 183 yards on a season-high 22 carries. He also added five catches for the third time in his last four games. Anderson is clearly the focal point of the Tigers' offense and will likely continue to dominate given Memphis will be favored in each of the team's next four games.

Seth Henigan - Productive in Saturday's win Henigan was 24-for-38 passing for 319 yards and one touchdown during Saturday's 52-44 win against North Texas. He also had six rushes for nine yards with one touchdown.

Impact Henigan put together a solid performance in Saturday's win as he threw for over 300 yards for the third time this season. He also scored his first rushing touchdown of the season, a four-yard run in the first quarter. Henigan's upside is hurt by the Tigers' insistence on running the ball near the goal line, but he still has a pretty high floor every week.

Mario Anderson Jr. - Will be available after ejection Anderson will be available this week against North Texas after he was ejected for spitting on a player against South Florida, Jonah Dylan of the Memphis Commercial Appeal reports.

Impact Anderson was ejected mid-game against the Bulls. His head coach Ryan Silverfield told reporters this week that the tailback will be available despite his "completely despicable" actions. Anderson should resume his role as the lead back in this offense moving forward.

Impact Blankumsee finally broke through with a decent game Saturday as he caught a 31-yard touchdown in the first quarter. It was his first touchdown of the season and his first time since Week 3 recording 40 receiving yards. Blankumsee had 901 yards and seven touchdowns last season so his lack of production this season has been surprising. His usage in the offense has remained fairly low though so there should not be a lot of optimism for him moving forward.

Impact Henigan did not have his best outing Saturday, but he did enough to secure the win. He tossed two touchdowns for the fourth time this season, however he threw an interception for the third time in his last four games. Although Henigan has played well this season, he has still not put up great numbers in any game this season which in part is due to his lack of production on the ground.

Greg Desrosiers Jr. - Out against North Texas Desrosiers (collarbone) is out for the Tigers' game Saturday against North Texas, Rachel Phillips of ABC24 Memphis reports.

Impact Currently, Desrosiers' only opportunity to participate in an October game is against UNC Charlotte on Oct. 26. Once again, the Tigers will have to depend on Mario Anderson and Brandon Thomas, the latter who updated his season high in carries his last game.

Impact Desrosiers hasn't played since Week 3 against Florida State. The tailback was a rotational piece for the Tigers, tallying 16 carries for 95 yards and one score through three games. He also added value as a receiver, with eight catches for 39 yards and a touchdown. Mario Anderson should continue to lead the way for Memphis' backfield moving forward.

Koby Drake - Records reception Drake (undisclosed) logged one reception for 10 yards during Memphis' 24-7 win Saturday against Middle Tennessee State.

Impact Fortunately for Drake, he has not sat out any games of Memphis' 2024 season. However, Saturday marked his first game this year with less than multiple receptions. On the plus side, it is a testament to how good Drake can be with a full week of practice and health on his side.

Demeer Blankumsee - Disappointing once again Blankumsee hauled in 2 of 3 targets for 18 yards during Saturday's 24-7 win against Middle Tennessee State.

Impact Blankumsee has his worst outing of the season Saturday as he set season lows in receiving yards and targets. It's been a disappointing start to the season for him as he has gained just 178 yards through five games and has failed to score a touchdown after scoring seven last season. At this point it seems that the Tigers' passing attack is not potent enough to support Blankumsee, in addition to Seth Henigan spreading the ball around fairly evenly which severely limits Blankumsee's volume.

Roc Taylor - Leads receiving attack Saturday Taylor logged six receptions (on 10 targets) for 69 yards during Saturday's 24-7 victory against Middle Tennessee State.

Impact Taylor saw 10 targets for the second straight game Saturday, further establishing himself as the team's No. 1 option in the passing game. He also tied a season high with six catches and went for over 50 yards for the fourth time in five games. The fact that Memphis relies so heavily on the run -- especially near the goal line -- hurts Taylor's touchdown upside. He has caught just one touchdown through five games this season, and quarterback Seth Henigan has thrown just seven compared to the Tigers' 14 on the ground.

Mario Anderson Jr. - Productive in Saturday's win Anderson notched 18 rushes for 118 yards and one touchdown and hauled in all six targets for 43 yards during Saturday's 24-7 victory against Middle Tennessee State.

Impact Anderson had another excellent performance Saturday as he gained a season-high 161 yards from scrimmage and scored his eighth touchdown of the season. He was tied for the most receptions on the team with six -- which also marked a season high -- and received the second most targets on the team as well. He has seen over 18 touches in each of the last four games and has proven that he can put together elite performances with that high volume.
