Jordan Onovughe - Catchless on three targets
Onovughe logged zero receptions (on three targets) for zero yards during Saturday's 23-20 defeat versus Hawaii.
Impact
Onovughe was one of four Stanford pass catchers to see multiple targets in the loss, but he failed to reel in any of the passes thrown his way. The Cardinal rotated wide receivers behind CJ Williams, with Onovughe, Caden High and Marcus Brown mixing in. Of the rotational wideouts, Onovughe worked the most on the outside, which means he could be involved in more two-WR sets going forward. Stanford completed just 15 passes for 109 yards, severely trimming Onovughe's path to fantasy relevance.

Caden High - Two catches in defeat
High caught 2 of 3 targets for 15 yards during Saturday's 23-20 defeat against Hawaii.
Impact
Stanford's passing attack was non-existent during Week 0, totaling 109 yards on 30 attempts. Still, High was one of three pass-catchers to reel in multiple receptions, joining CJ Williams and Sam Roush. If quarterback Ben Gulbranson and head coach Frank Reich can get more out of the passing game, High could put together some solid performances, but Saturday's efforts weren't a great indicator of future fantasy success.

CJ Williams - Lead WR in Week 0
Williams totaled three receptions (on five targets) for 30 yards during Saturday's 23-20 loss to Hawaii.
Impact
Williams led all Cardinal wideouts in targets, catches, yards and snaps. Tight end Sam Roush paced the team with seven targets and tied Williams' three receptions, though. The Wisconsin transfer looks to be the early favorite of quarterback Ben Gulbranson, but the Stanford offense produced just 109 passing yards, which is certainly not a fantasy-friendly output. If Stanford can improve its air attack, Williams should benefit greatly.

ROTOWIRE
Sam Roush - Targeted seven times in opener
Roush tallied three receptions (on seven targets) for six yards during Saturday's 23-20 loss versus Hawaii.
Impact
Roush led the Cardinal in targets Saturday and looked to be an integral part of the passing game. He lined up all over the field, highlighting his athleticism from the tight end position. He couldn't cash in on the opportunities, as Ben Gulbranson struggled to find a rhythm. Stanford's run-heavy approach may limit Roush's upside, but his volume of targets could make him one of the best tight end options in the ACC.

ROTOWIRE
Cole Tabb - Operates in reserve role
Tabb logged four carries for 26 yards and gathered in all two targets for eight yards during Saturday's 23-20 loss against Hawaii.
Impact
Tabb served as the No. 3 back in Stanford's season opener, working behind Micah Ford and Sedrick Irvin. While Irvin outtouched Tabb 10-6, Tabb's passing-game usage is encouraging as he could carve out a larger third-down role later in the season. Still, he shouldn't be in fantasy consideration when Ford and Irvin are healthy.

ROTOWIRE
Sedrick Irvin - Backs up Micah Ford
Irvin totaled 10 carries for 46 yards and caught 0 of 2 targets for zero yards during Saturday's 23-20 loss against Hawaii.
Impact
Irvin, Micah Ford, Cole Tabb and Chris Davis make up a solid young RB crew, and as Ford operated as the clear No. 1 Saturday, it was Irvin who handled backup duties. He outcarried Tabb 10-4, but Tabb did catch a pair of passes in the loss. Given interim head coach Frank Reich's history of using one primary tailback, Irvin should remain out of fantasy conversations while Ford is healthy.

ROTOWIRE
Micah Ford - Dominates carries in opener
Ford logged 26 carries for 113 yards and one touchdown and gathered in 2 of 5 targets for two yards during Saturday's 23-20 loss against Hawaii.
Impact
The Cardinal featured Ford out of the backfield in Week 0, outcarrying Sedrick Irvin 26-10. Ford's physicality made him a consistent threat to the Rainbow Warriors, averaging 4.3 yards per carry with a longest rush of 17 yards. Interim head coach Frank Reich used a workhorse back in each of his six seasons as an NFL head coach, and it looks like Ford will fill that role for Stanford in 2025, making the sophomore a valuable fantasy asset with a high floor.

ROTOWIRE
Ben Gulbranson - Throws costly interception
Gulbranson completed 15 of 30 passes for 109 yards and one interception during Saturday's 23-20 loss versus Hawaii.
Impact
Gulbranson beat out Elijah Brown for the starting job with Stanford, but his Cardinal debut was underwhelming. Stanford leaned on the run game during the walk-off loss, with Gulbranson handing the ball off 40 times. When he was asked to throw, the sixth-year senior struggled, completing just over 50 percent of his attempts. His interception came with six minutes left in the fourth quarter from just outside of the red zone. Hawai'i marched down the field for a game-tying field goal right after, then got the ball back after forcing a three-and-out before winning the contest on a field goal at the buzzer. Stanford's run-heavy approach limits Gulbranson's upside, but he didn't exactly show much to spark optimism anyway.
