Will Nixon - Could be out a while Nixon could be out for a while due to his foot injury, Chris Carlson of Syracuse.com reports.

Impact Nixon suffered his foot injury during Syracuse's game Saturday against Holy Cross. As a result, he will sit out the SU-UNLV matchup scheduled for Oct. 4. However, Carlson confirming Nixon being unavailable 'a little while' indicates more than one DNP may be needed from Syracuse's injured junior.

Oronde Gadsden II - Limited once again Gadsden logged one reception (on seven targets) for four yards during Saturday's 42-14 victory against Holy Cross.

Impact Gadsden was held in check for the second straight week, as Holy Cross managed to contain him to one grab. He was still heavily involved in the offense, as he was targeted seven times, but strangely enough FCS Holy Cross managed to shut down the star-pass-catcher. He'll look to bounce back on Friday night against UNLV.

Trebor Pena - Scores fifth touchdown of 2024 Pena recorded four receptions (on six targets) for 49 yards and one touchdown during Saturday's 42-14 victory against Holy Cross.

Impact Pena found the end zone for the first time since Week 2 in a blowout win over Holy Cross. The receiver's target share predictably dropped from the 12 he saw last week, but he still managed to post a decent stat-line with just six targets, his fewest of the season. Pena will remain a top option moving forward for what's been a highly productive Syracuse passing attack.

Darrell Gill Jr. - Finds end zone in win Gill hauled in 2 of 4 targets for 49 yards and one touchdown during Saturday's 42-14 win against Holy Cross.

Impact Gill scored his first touchdown of the 2024 campaign in a blowout win over Holy Cross. The receiver has now seen four targets in each of the past two games. He's not exactly a focal point of this offense, but with how high-flying this Syracuse passing attack has been, Gill will be in line for good stat-lines here and there.

Umari Hatcher - Scores in blowout Hatcher had three receptions (on eight targets) for 59 yards and one touchdown during Saturday's 42-14 win over Holy Cross.

Impact Hatcher continues to get hot as we reach the midway point of the season. The wideout has now scored in back-to-back weeks and has seen his targets increase in every game this season. Those numbers, coupled with the electric play of his quarterback Kyle McCord, makes Hatcher a solid option fantasy-wise moving forward.

Jackson Meeks - Monster day through the air Meeks logged 10 receptions (on 12 targets) for 161 yards and one touchdown during Saturday's 42-14 win against Holy Cross.

Impact Meeks had put together respectable performances leading up to the Holy Cross game, but the receiver exploded in Week 5. His 12 targets were easily a season high, and he certainly made the most of them. Meeks has now scored a touchdown in back-to-back games and has amassed 22 targets over the past three games. He's slowly becoming a more critical piece of this passing attack.

LeQuint Allen - Big day as a receiver Allen recorded 16 carries for 81 yards and one touchdown and reeled in 7 of 8 targets for 54 yards during Saturday's 42-14 victory versus Holy Cross.

Impact Allen tallied 81 yards on the ground, but more notable was his seven catches on a whopping eight targets. He's now seen at least four targets in every game this season. He also scored his first rushing touchdown on the year, and bounced back after posting just 25 yards the game prior. Allen will now look ahead to an intriguing matchup with UNLV.

Kyle McCord - Another big day McCord completed 28 of 50 passes for 385 yards, four touchdowns and two interceptions during Saturday's 42-14 victory versus Holy Cross. He also had five rushes for -17 yards.

Impact McCord continued his arial assault in Syracuse, as he's now thrown four touchdowns in three of four games and hasn't thrown less than 339 yards in 2024. He did throw two interceptions for the second straight week, but his passing production remains staggering and impressive. He'll look to continue his big year Friday night against UNLV.

Zeed Haynes - Out at UNLV Haynes (personal) is out for Syracuse's game Friday at UNLV, Chris Carlson of The Syracuse Post-Standard reports.

Impact Haynes will have logged three DNPs because of his current problem. Without him available during Syracuse's latest game, Umari Thatcher and Jackson Meeks recorded another touchdown for themselves against Holy Cross.

Justus Ross-Simmons - Available for Week 6 Simmons will be available for Syracuse's game against UNLV, Chris Carlson of The Syracuse Post-Standard reports.

Impact Ross-Simmons has only played in one game this season, and most recently missed the Orange's tilt with Holy Cross. The wideout will now be available for the Friday night clash with the Runnin' Rebels, however, and should be set to make his biggest impact this season.

Will Nixon - Returns to action Saturday Nixon (undisclosed) ran for 29 yards on seven attempts while catching his only target for nine receiving yards in Syracuse's 42-14 victory over Holy Cross on Saturday.

Impact Nixon missed last week's matchup against Stanford with an undisclosed injury, but he made a rapid enough recovery to make his return to the field against Holy Cross. The redshirt junior running back has run for 76 yards on 19 attempts through three games in 2024, adding four catches for 44 yards through the air as well. Nixon's next opportunity will come when the Orange travel to face UNLV on Friday.
