Will Nixon - Dressed out Saturday Nixon (undisclosed) is dressed out for Saturday's contest against Holy Cross, Aiden Stepansky of the Daily Orange reports.

Impact Nixon seems slated to make his return to action after sitting out last week's contest against Stanford. Assuming he's available, he should rotate in behind LeQuint Allen and could receive some extra run against what figures to be an overmatched Holy Cross squad.

Zeed Haynes - Not warming up Saturday Haynes (personal) is not warming up ahead of Saturday's game against Holy Cross, Chris Carlson of The Syracuse Post-Standard reports.

Impact Haynes has been away from the team while dealing with a personal matter with his family. The early signs indicate he won't play Saturday and it was reported earlier in the week that there was no timetable for his return.

Emanuel Ross - Inactive Saturday Ross (foot) has been spotted in sweats and a walking boot ahead of Saturday's game against Holy Cross, Chris Carlson of The Syracuse Post-Standard reports.

Impact Ross will remain sidelined for Syracuse as they prepare to face off against the Crusaders in Week 5. The 6-foot-2 freshman wideout saw a handful of snaps in Syracuse's opener against Ohio, but he has yet to record a catch with the program.

Will Nixon - Warming up early Nixon (undisclosed) is going through early warmups ahead of Saturday's game against Holy Cross, Chris Carlson of The Syracuse Post-Standard reports.

Impact Syracuse's backfield depth could get a boost if Nixon is available. Nixon was unavailable against Stanford but has 12 carries for 47 yards on the year. His presence for early warmups is a good sign that he will be able to play Saturday.

Impact Haynes missed the Orange's game against Stanford, but he was a big part of this offense prior to that absence as he combined for 15 targets through two games. He should resume his role as a key member of this passing attack upon his return; the issue is, we have no idea when that will be.

Oronde Gadsden II - Held in check vs. Stanford Gadsden recorded two receptions (on five targets) for 12 yards during Friday's 26-24 loss to Stanford.

Impact Credit Stanford for knowing it had to stop the star tight end and executing that game plan extremely well. Syracuse's passing offense still had a big day, but Gadsden wasn't a part of that in the slightest. He'll look to bounce back in an extremely enticing Week 5 matchup with Holy Cross.

Jackson Meeks - Finds end zone in loss Meeks notched three receptions (on five targets) for 40 yards and one touchdown during Friday's 26-24 loss to Stanford.

Impact Meeks scored his first touchdown of the season against Stanford. He accrued another five targets, which is a good sign for his production moving forward. Syracuse's passing offense has been very productive through three games, and Meeks has certainly been a benefactor.

Umari Hatcher - Another productive day Hatcher compiled three receptions (on six targets) for 84 yards and one touchdown during Friday's 26-24 loss versus Stanford.

Impact Hatcher's workload continues to increase week-in and week-out for the Orange offense. He put together his biggest day of the season against Stanford, and his chemistry with quarterback Kyle McCord appears to be growing.

Trebor Pena - Tops 100 yards in loss Pena had 10 receptions (on 12 targets) for 101 yards during Friday's 26-24 defeat versus Stanford.

Impact Pena was everywhere for the Orange with 10 catches on a season-high 12 targets, but it wasn't enough for the win. Pena, however, remains an excellent option at receiver, even as he was held without two touchdowns for the first time this season. Pena has proven to be one of quarterback Kyle McCord's favorite targets through three games.

LeQuint Allen - Remains dangerous as a receiver Allen tallied eight rushes for 25 yards and hauled in all four targets for 43 yards during Friday's 26-24 loss to Stanford.

Impact Allen once again was a receiving threat out of the backfield, but this time his rushing production didn't quite cut it. His 25 yards were easily his lowest total of the young season, but he remained the Orange's top back in terms of carries. Allen will continue to be the feature back for this offense moving forward.

Kyle McCord - Two picks in narrow loss McCord completed 27 of 42 passes for 339 yards, two touchdowns and two interceptions during Friday's 26-24 defeat to Stanford. He also had five rushes for negative eight yards with...

Impact McCord was once again well over the 300-yard mark, but he threw two backbreaking interceptions in a two-point defeat. The quarterback stayed efficient, completing 64 percent of his passes, but he may have fallen back down to earth slightly after his outburst of production in the first two games. Still, McCord has been productive this season and will continue to be a solid option at quarterback in this Orange offense.

Haynes will aim to return for the game against Holy Cross on Sep. 28.
