Kyron Drones - Scores with arm and leg Drones was 14-for-21 passing for 130 yards and one touchdown during Saturday's 31-14 victory versus Marshall. He also had 15 rushes for 13 yards with one touchdown.

Impact Drones didn't dominate the Thundering Herd, but he did exactly what he needed to do in Virginia Tech's bounce-back win. It was a far cry from the 322 yards and two passing scores he posted in the opener, but the Hokies' didn't need their quarterback to do much in a rather comfortable win. Drones should have another good matchup next week against Old Dominion.

Impact Tuten also isn't listed among the inactives, per Kolby Crawford of 247Sports, so it appears safe to assume the running back will be available for Saturday's contest after exiting late last week. Tuten should be the primary back for the Hokies in 2024 after rushing for 863 yards and 10 touchdowns last year, and he'll aim to kick it up a notch after a relatively slow start from a yardage standpoint last week versus Vanderbilt.

Kyron Drones - Warming up with calf sleeve Drones (calf) is warming up with a sleeve on his calf ahead of Saturday's game versus Marshall, Raza Umerani of 3304Sports.com reports.

Impact Drones also practiced with a calf sleeve this week after cramping forced him out of action in Week 1. It appears that the third-year quarterback is ready to go Saturday as the Hokies look to overcome an opening-week loss.
