Tyler Holton - Recalled Saturday Holton was recalled from Triple-A Reno on Saturday.
Impact Holton has spent most of the season in Reno and has recorded a 3.29 ERA and 1.25 WHIP in 27.1 innings over 18 relief appearances in the minors. The southpaw should pitch mainly in low-leverage situations but will be able to handle multi-inning outings if needed.

Christian Cerda - Flipped from Rays for Peralta Cerda was traded from the Rays to the Diamondbacks on Saturday in exchange for David Peralta, Jeff Passan of ESPN.com reports.
Impact Cerda is not an established prospect, but the 19-year-old catcher is hitting .315/.464/.519 with two home runs, five steals, 15 walks and 12 strikeouts in 20 games in the Florida Complex League. Peralta, who turns 35 next month, is a two-month rental.

Impact Pitching at Truist Park for the first time since tossing a seven-inning no-hitter in April 2021, Bumgarner's latest trip to Atlanta's ballpark didn't go nearly as well. Though he was at least able to give the Diamondbacks a decent amount of length, Bumgarner failed to strike out a batter for the second time this season and fell short of the benchmark for a quality start. He maintains a 3.83 ERA, 1.36 WHIP and 8.8 K-BB% across 110.1 innings on the campaign.

Tyler Gilbert - Out with elbow sprain Gilbert was placed on the 15-day injured list, retroactive to July 27, due to a left elbow sprain Friday.
Impact Gilbert apparently picked up the injury during Tuesday's start against the Giants, when he surrendered two runs over four frames in a no-decision. The left-hander will miss at least a couple turns through the rotation and will be eligible to be reinstated Aug. 11, though given it's an elbow issue he seems unlikely to be healthy by that time.

Impact Hernandez was sent down by the Diamondbacks on May 22 and has hit .211 with a home run, three triples, two doubles, 22 runs, 16 RBI and 12 stolen bases over 38 minor-league games since then. Despite his lackluster results in Reno, the 24-year-old will rejoin the big-league club to provide infield depth.
