Impact Swanson walked and stole second in the first and singled and swiped a bag in the fifth. The shortstop continues to play well and has a .355/.375/.581 with five extra-base hits and three stolen bases in 32 plate appearances in July. Swanson joins Julio Rodriguez and Kyle Tucker as the only players in baseball with 14 homers and 14 stolen bases.

Spencer Strider - Fans 12 in no-decision Strider struck out 12 in six scoreless innings while allowing two runs on two hits Thursday in a 3-2 loss in extra innings against St. Louis. He did not factor into the decision.
Impact Strider struck out eight batters in the first three innings and allowed just one baserunner over the next three frames. Impact Rosario started in left field in each of Atlanta's three games since being activated from the 60-day injured list Monday, going 3-for-10 with a solo home run. All of those starts coincided with Adam Duvall being sidelined with a hand injury, but the latter is back in the lineup for Thursday's series finale. Now that Atlanta has all of its key regulars available save for second baseman Ozzie Albies (foot), Rosario may have to settle for fourth-outfielder duties, but he should still pick up at least a couple starts per week.

Impact Soroka, who is working back from his second surgery in less than two years to repair a torn right Achilles' tendon, isn't dealing with any structural damage to his knee and is merely dealing with a bruise, leaving Atlanta optimistic that his rehab program won't have to be slowed down too long. According to Toscano, Atlanta is preparing for Soroka to return from the 60-day injured list as a starting pitcher, so whenever his minor-league assignment begins, he'll likely need most of the 30-day rehab window to get fully ramped up. Back in May, Soroka said that he and the organization are hoping to keep his innings within the 60-to-100 range in 2022, so his workload shouldn't be much of a concern since he's still realistically at least a month away from making his season debut for the big club.
