Adam Duvall - Remains out of lineup Duvall (hand) isn't starting Monday's game against the Cardinals.

Impact Duvall recently underwent X-rays that came back negative but will remain out of the lineup for a second consecutive game after he was hit by a pitch on his left hand Saturday. Once the 33-year-old is cleared to return, it's possible that he'll see a slight decrease in playing time since Eddie Rosario was reinstated from the injured list Monday.

Silvino Bracho - Designated for assignment Bracho was designated for assignment Monday.

Impact Bracho was acquired from the Red Sox in late June, and he appeared in one game out of Atlanta's bullpen. However, he is now back on the waiver wire after being removed from a 40-man roster for the second time in a week.

Mike Ford - Sent to Triple-A Gwinnett Ford was optioned to Triple-A Gwinnett on Monday.

Impact Ford served mainly as a depth piece after being claimed off waivers in late June, and he will head to the minors with Eddie Rosario rejoining the big club Monday. Ford figures to be an option next time Atlanta needs to bring up a bat from the minor-league ranks.

Impact Matzek has been out since injuring his shoulder in mid-May, but he completed a rehab assignment and is ready to pitch for the big club again. Charlie Morton - Strikes out 10 Morton gave up a hit and a walk with no earned runs over seven innings in a 4-3 loss to the Reds on Sunday. Morton struck out 10 and did not factor into the decision.

Impact Morton was on top of his game Sunday, and his seven innings of shutout ball marked his best start of his season. He retired the first 12 batters of the game and struck out the side in the third. Morton leaned effectively on his curveball to garner swings and misses on pitches out of the zone. The 38-year-old veteran had a weak start to the season, posting a 7.00 ERA in April, but his statistics appear to be normalizing closer toward his career averages. The veteran has a career 4.03 ERA in 1705 innings pitched. Morton is tentatively expected to start on Friday against the Nationals.

Marcell Ozuna - Blasts two homers Ozuna went 2-for-4 with two solo home runs in a 4-3 loss to the Reds on Sunday.

Impact Ozuna went deep twice to give him 16 home runs and 34 RBI on the season. The 31-year-old right-handed power bat is on pace for his best home run total since 2017, when he went yard 37 times while playing for the Marlins. However, Ozuna's .227 average and .280 OBP are considerably down from his career numbers. His .244 BABIP and .276 xBA suggest that he could have been the victim of some bad hitter's luck thus far and is perhaps due for his numbers to normalize over the rest of the season.
