Gunnar Henderson - Scratched due to stomach flu Orioles manager Brandon Hyde told reporters that Henderson was scratched from the lineup due to a stomach flu that is going through the clubhouse.

Impact Henderson was slated to leadoff against the Cubs on Sunday, but the rookie infielder was a late scratch from the lineup due to the illness. The Orioles have an off-day Monday before facing the Rays in Tampa Bay on Tuesday, and Henderson should be considered day-to-day for that upcoming contest.

Mychal Givens - Unlikely for series versus Tampa Givens (shoulder) is unlikely to be activated during the Orioles' upcoming two-game series versus the Rays, Nathan Ruiz of The Baltimore Sun reports.

Impact Givens has made two rehab appearances, one at Double-A Bowie and one at Triple-A Norfolk. Adley Rutschman - Goes deep again Rutschman went 1-for-4 with a two-run home run and a walk in Saturday's 3-2 loss to the Cubs.

Impact Rutschman extended his hitting streak to five games, and he's gone 8-for-22 (.364) with four extra-base hits in that span. The catcher's homer Saturday briefly tied the game at 2-2. For the season, he's slashing an excellent .281/.390/.438 with 10 homers, 31 RBI, 35 runs scored and 10 doubles through 68 contests. With James McCann (ankle) tending to an injury, Rutschman will likely be firmly locked in behind the plate for at least a few days.

Terrin Vavra - Lands on minor-league IL Vavra (shoulder) was placed on Triple-A Norfolk's 7-day injured list Friday, Roch Kubatko of MASNSports.com reports.

Impact Vavra suffered a right shoulder strain and will be sidelined at least a week. His injury leaves the Orioles with one less option available should they need an extra position player in the majors. Vavra went 9-for-21 (.429) with three extra-base hits and a stolen base over five games following his demotion June 6.
