Impact Stephenson receives a $2.4 million raise in his second year of arbitration eligibility after slashing .258/.338/.444 and setting new career highs with 19 homers, 69 runs scored and 66 RBI in 2024. The Reds' offseason acquisition of Jose Trevino shouldn't cut too much into Stephenson's playing time, and the 28-year-old still projects as one of the better offensive backstops in the majors.

Sam Moll - Reaches deal with Reds Moll (shoulder) agreed to a one-year, $1.001 million contract with the Reds on Thursday, avoiding arbitration, Gordon Wittenmyer of The Cincinnati Enquirer reports.

Impact The left-hander landed on the injured list late last season due to a shoulder impingement but should be ready for the start of spring training. Moll made 48 appearances for the Reds last season and had a 3.35 ERA, 1.09 WHIP and 38:14 K:BB over 37.2 innings.

Nick Lodolo - Settles with Cincy Lodolo agreed to a one-year, $1.975 million contract with the Reds on Thursday to avoid arbitration, Gordon Wittenmyer of The Cincinnati Enquirer reports.

Impact Lodolo finished last season with a 4.76 ERA and 1.20 WHIP over 115.1 innings and continued to struggle with injuries, as calf, groin and finger issues all caused him to miss several chunks of the year. When healthy, the 26-year-old southpaw has shown flashes of what once made him a top prospect, but he'll be hard for fantasy managers to trust until he proves he can stay off the injured list for an extended period of time.

Jose Trevino - Settles with new club The Reds and Trevino avoided arbitration by agreeing to a one-year, $3.425 million contract Thursday, Jon Heyman of the New York Post reports.

Impact Picked up in a trade with the Yankees last month, Trevino was arbitration-eligible for the third and final time. The 32-year-old will be the Reds' No. 2 catcher in 2025 behind Tyler Stephenson.

Impact It was Fraley's second year of arbitration eligibility. The 29-year-old reached 20 stolen bases in 2024 but fell off to just five home runs over a career-high 116 games. He should be a strong-side platoon back again for Cincinnati in 2025.

Gavin Lux - Settles with new team The Reds and Lux avoided arbitration by agreeing to a one-year, $3.325 million contract Thursday, Gordon Wittenmyer of The Cincinnati Enquirer reports.

Impact Acquired from the Dodgers via trade earlier this week, Lux had been arbitration-eligible for the second time. The 27-year-old slashed .251/.320/.383 with 10 home runs and 50 RBI across 487 plate appearances during the 2024 regular season with the Dodgers and is in line for regular reps against righties with his new team in 2025.

Impact Singer will get a $3.9 million raise in 2025 after he submitted a 3.71 ERA, 1.27 WHIP and 170:54 K:BB across 179.2 innings with the Royals last season before being dealt to the Reds in November. The right-hander made up for a so-so 22.3 percent strikeout rate by generating ground balls at a steady clip (47.1 GB%), and his ability to mitigate damage on flyballs may help him stave off a dramatic increase in his ERA as he moves to a more hitter-friendly environment in Great American Ball Park in 2025.

Once he returned, he never got untracked offensively or defensively, hitting just .210/.248/.301 in 229 at-bats. With Lux on the team, the Reds have to find spots for Matt McLain, Jeimer Candelario and Christian Encarnacion-Strand in addition to Marte, and it doesn't make sense for Marte to ride the bench instead of playing regularly in the minors.
