Dealing with rib soreness Manager A.J. Hinch revealed Sunday that Hill has been dealing with rib soreness recently, Chris McCosky of The Detroit News reports.

Impact Hill wasn't in the lineup for Sunday's game against the Rays, but he appeared off the bench and went 0-for-1 with a run. The 25-year-old has been out of the lineup in three of the last four games, but he'll be able to recover Monday since the Tigers have a scheduled day off.
