He threw just seven innings in the minors in 2024. He'd given up five runs with seven walks and one strikeout in 4.1 innings at Triple-A St. Paul before his release.

Sent to minor-league camp The Twins reassigned Ynoa to minor-league camp Tuesday, Betsy Helfand of the St. Paul Pioneer Press reports.

Impact After missing the 2023 season while recovering from Tommy John surgery, Ynoa opened the 2024 campaign at full health and occupied a spot in Triple-A Gwinnett's rotation, only to be shut down in mid-April with elbow inflammation before he hurt his shoulder in August during a rehab assignment.
