Freddy Peralta - Makes final spring start Peralta allowed five earned runs over 4.1 innings in his final start of the spring Monday. He allowed six hits and posted a 5:1 K:BB in the contest.

Impact Peralta was not particularly sharp during the exhibition season, giving up 15 hits over 14.1 innings and posting a 6.28 ERA. However, he did strike out 15 batters and only walked three, so it doesn't seem there is anything to be overly concerned about. Coming off a season in which he posted career bests in both the ERA (2.81) and WHIP (0.97) departments, Peralta will be a strong third starter in a rotation headlined by Corbin Burnes and Brandon Woodruff.

Jandel Gustave - Set to break camp with big club Gustave allowed an earned run but picked up a save in Monday's spring game.

Impact Gustave was hardly sharp Monday, giving up three hits and walking a batter in the lone inning he pitched, but he still found a way to close the door in the Brewers' penultimate exhibition contest. He will not be in the mix for saves when the regular season begins, but he has sewn up a spot in the Brewers' bullpen. Expect him to work in middle relief.

Tellez is set to be the Brewers' primary first baseman and will occupy a spot in the middle of the batting order.

Pablo Reyes - Sent to Triple-A Reyes was optioned to Triple-A Nashville on Monday.

Impact Reyes was unable to earn a spot on Milwaukee's Opening Day roster, so he'll begin the season at the Triple-A level. He played in 53 games for the Brewers in 2021 and hit. 256/.333/.359 with one home run, three RBI and four stolen bases in 87 plate appearances.

Peterson will fill a super-utility role when the Brewers are at full strength, but with Luis Urias (quad) set to miss the start of the season, Peterson is on track to open the season on the favorable side of a third-base platoon with Mike Brosseau.
