Sean Manaea - 11 strikeouts Tuesday Manaea (10-5) allowed three runs on four hits while striking out 11 over 6.2 innings in a win over the Diamondbacks on Tuesday.
Impact Manaea cruised through six frames, allowing just one hit while striking out 10 batters. He came apart a bit in the seventh, allowing three hits, two of which were home runs, leading to three runs for the Diamondbacks and his departure from the game. Tuesday was Manaea's second time with double-digit strikeouts against the Diamondbacks this season and his fourth such game overall this season. He's now posted quality starts in five of his last six appearances and owns a 3.51 ERA, 1.14 WHIP and 149:52 K:BB in 143.2 innings. Manaea lines up to take the mound again versus the White Sox this weekend.

Brandon Nimmo - Three hits Tuesday Nimmo went 3-for-5 with a double and a run scored in Tuesday's win over the Diamondbacks.
Impact Nimmo led the Mets with three hits Tuesday, though he only crossed the plate once and couldn't drive in any runs on a night when the Mets scored eight. It was Nimmo's first three-hit effort since the very beginning of the month, but he's gone without an RBI over his last five games. Nimmo has driven in a career-best 72 runs this year but his batting average is down significantly compared to the last few seasons.
