Julio Rodríguez - Exits after crashing into wall Rodriguez exited Sunday's contest against the Astros with a right leg injury, Brian McTaggart of MLB.com reports.
Impact Rodriguez collided with the center field wall while trying to run down a fly ball from Yordan Alvarez with two outs in the top of the sixth inning, ultimately being removed from the contest. The 23-year-old was able to walk off on his own, but more information on his status will likely be provided in the near future. In the meantime, Ty France replaced Rodriguez in the lineup while Victor Robles shifted over to center field.

Ryne Stanek - Takes loss in return Saturday Stanek (6-3) was charged with the loss against the Astros on Saturday, allowing two earned runs on two hits and a walk over two-thirds of an inning. He struck out one.
Impact Stanek was making his first appearance since being pulled due to back spasms from an outing against the Angels in the final game before the All-Star break. The right-hander was tasked with preserving a 2-1 lead when entering in the seventh, but he immediately faltered by walking Jeremy Pena and then allowing a go-ahead two-run home run to Jake Meyers. The light-hitting Mariners were never able to make up the deficit, saddling Stanek with his second loss in the last three decisions. Stanek was able to throw 25 pitches overall, so unless reports indicating otherwise emerge, it appears his ineffectiveness Saturday was unrelated to any aggravation of the injury.

Impact Rodriguez was responsible for the only runs of the game for the struggling Mariners, lifting a 382-foot shot to left in the sixth with Victor Robles aboard. The homer was Rodriguez's 11th of the season and fourth since July 4. It also serves as his only hit of the second half thus far across eight plate appearances, after he went into the All-Star break hitting a blistering .591 over his final six games.

Impact Robles drew another start in right field and eventually shifted over to left while notably working out of the No. 2 spot in the order for the first time. The hot-hitting veteran reached double digits in stolen bases for the third time in his career with his pair of swipes, his second multi-steal tally in the last three games. Robles is surging at the plate over the last eight games as well, hitting .444 (8-for-18) with three extra-base hits, two RBI, three walks, five total steals, a hit-by-pitch and four runs in that span. It remains to be seen if Saturday's lineup slotting is an outlier or is replicated in coming days, but Robles' run-scoring opportunities would figure to rise if the latter proves true.

George Kirby - Stuck with no-decision Kirby did not factor into the decision in a loss to the Astros on Saturday, allowing one run on four hits over six innings while striking out six.
Impact Kirby cruised through the first three frames before hitting Alex Bregman with a pitch to lead off the fourth, who would later come around to score on a Jeremy Pena single. That would be the only run allowed by the right-hander on the night as Seattle's offense once again failed to provide him with much in terms of run support. Kirby has now logged eight quality starts in a row, though he has just two wins to show for it - the most recent one coming back on June 26. He's also held his opponents to one earned run in back-to-back starts and now carries a 2.59 ERA in July to go along with a 26:4 K:BB.
